Ending the Year with Gratitude

Dawn Vinson, Executive Director

The end of the year can be a time when the stresses of the past year catch up with people. Engagement continues to suffer as many continue to work remotely. This is a good time to acknowledge the stress and anxiety of our lives and take time to honor what each and every one has accomplished to improve higher education, to support our faculty, and assist our students.

It is with great privilege this past year to work with two great aviation families, Frasca and Whelan, to share precious memories and shore up the future of an industry and people we love. Like so many of you that chose to honor the life of a family member by donating to our scholarship funds, we offer support for the hopes and dreams of the next generation of aviation professionals.

I would like to thank the Board, our cherished group of colleagues who volunteer your time to our programs and public outreach, our interns who breathe energy and enthusiasm into our days, and all of the members who share your ideas, your knowledge, and your passion to make everything we do possible. I would like each member and industry supporter to know that what you do makes a difference in the lives of those around you, and to our future. Thank you all.
